A venturi wet scrubber is a pollution control device that uses a high-velocity gas stream to atomize a scrubbing liquid, capturing particulate and gaseous pollutants in the liquid droplets. This system consists of a converging section, a throat, and a diverging section. The gas stream is accelerated through the narrowing throat, forcing it to collide with the scrubbing liquid and capture pollutants.
